Shrimps and Salmon Pasta
This is one of my favourite comfort meals. It is so easy to make and delicious. I came by this recipe when I saw one of those packets in the freezer sections where they have those ready-made meals. I looked at a pasta spinach dish with salmon and thought ‘That sounds interesting’ and also ‘I can do this myself’. I made it up as I went and used things I had at home together with a few ingredients that I thought sounded great. This dish is the result. I adore it and it has a lot of omega 3 which is really good for you. An all-round success and thus a recommendation.
What do you need?
– A bag of fresh tagliatelle
– 1 salmon (frozen)
– 200 gr shrimps (frozen)
– 400 gr frozen spinach (can be al-la creme*)
– 150 gr Boursin I usually get the herms and garlic one
* I’ve had this recipe with al-la creme spinach and with regular spinach it doesn’t matter at all. I’ll usually use whichever I have in my freezer.
What do you need to do?
– Take the spinach out of the freezer
– Put the salmon and shrimps under running cold water.
– Cut the tails of the shrimps and cut the salmon into pieces
– Boil the tagliatelle as described on the packaging
– Bake the shrimp and salmon for five minutes or so
– Add the spinach to the pan, cook the fish and spinach together
– Add the Boursin and stir
– Drain the tagliatelle and put it with the rest of the pasta
– That’s it, enjoy
