Schwarzkopf Taft Volume Spray

Truthfully I go for a volume product all the time, I mean my hair is quite long and because there is so much of it, it is very heavy. I love a bit of volume though so I am always on the hunt for products that give my hair a little bit of a lift.

The packaging
the product comes in a spray bottle, I like the spray part of the bottle it sprays very easily. There is not much to it but it doesn’t have to be anything very special. It does what it is supposed to do.

Aqua (Water, Eau), Alcohol denat., VP/VA Copolymer, Panthenol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Parfum (Fragrance), Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Methyl Benzoate, Lactic Acid

What do I think
I am not sure if it worked as well as I like to believe it did. My hair does not have a lot of volume as my hair is quite heavy due to it’s length but I do really enjoy using this product and I feel it gives the crown of my head a bit more volume. my natural part goes back quite far on my head (or so I have been told).

This product makes it a bit easier to give a bit of a lift to the crown making my hair look great from the back also without having the adjust my part throughout the day. It also is not sticky which I find very important as I don’t enjoy that at all.

The spray does have a very overpowering alcohol smell to it but I actually really enjoy the smell which is a bit odd but the alcohol and the perfume together smell really nice to me. The smell does not last when it’s sprayed on the hair as far as I am aware.

The bottle is quite small for 150ml making it easy to carry with you on holiday or things like that. I do not think it dried my hair out, I did exclusively use it around my roots, where I need the volume so my ends, which are dryer don’t come in contact with the product. I am thinking that if you have very oily hair it might help prolong your time between washes if that is something you desire.
