One Day (2024)

I thought I had the book of this series, it was a different book with a similar name but it made me want to see the series right when it came out. It was such an interesting watch, let me tell you about it.

Emma and Dexter meet for the first time on the night of their graduation. Tomorrow they must go their separate ways.

My thoughts

I enjoyed the seriesand it was interesting to see how Dex and Emma kept missing each other but stayed friends over many years. Their lives and friendships had enormous ups and downs.

I didn’t really like Dex’s wife and their relationship. I found her family to be really odd and the whole part of the storyline was not so great. I wanted them to have relationships that I could root for, for me to be as conflicted as they were but that didn’t happen.

I would have also loved to learn a little bit more about Dex’s parents they were there but so briefly I didn’t get as invested as I could have been. I like for my stories to end happy and this series didn’t but overall it was very fun to watch their love story finally come to fruition
