Ah, make-up. I must admit that over the years I haven’t been that interested in make-up all together. I used to love it. It was something that brought me a lot of joy. But when I grew older, I somewhat lost this. Yet, a while ago now I suddenly felt the urge to buy some make-up. To try out some new things. To do something interesting with my look, to change it up a bit. One of my new products was a product by Stila. Which is interesting as I never had a product by Stila before.

What do I think
I truly love it, it’s such a magical color, it’s pink with a blueish undertone. It looks as if I am naturally flushed. Which is great, as I naturally don’t look flushed even when embarrassed. I enjoy the fact that the product can be built up. I now use a very light hand and blend it out a lot. In summer when I am tanner, I will be able to build the product up more for the same pretty effect. I am however unsure when you have a deeper skin tone if it will show up enough. Peony and Magnolia might be a better fit in that case.  I looked at all the colors and they are all so pretty. I hope that there is a colour for everyone, I do think that cream blushes are a bit more forgiving in that sense. I think it’s always best to look for yourself at a counter to see what will fit best and what you like. As undertone plays such a massive part in how lovely a blush looks. I do think the product needs a bit of work when you put it on to make it look just right. But once it does, it stays. It gives a beautiful colour to my skin, I like this blush. It has quickly become my favourite, which is used daily (when I put make-up on that is). I think this is a lovely blush with a formula that I enjoy.

I think the packaging, the box as well as the blush container is so pretty. It’s a joy to look at and for me. I like it when a beauty product looks pretty. It might not be the usual thing to say but you pick up something beautiful quicker.

The swatches

As the inside of my arm is lighter than my face, the blush doesn’t look as bright if I would apply it like this. Like I said it needs a bit of work but to me, it gives a beautiful outcome.
